This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for solar installations, batteries and service work.

This policy applies to quotations, orders and services from Sadguru Solar. If your written quotation or work order has different cancellation or refund terms, those written terms apply.
If you cancel in writing before we order materials for your project, we will refund your advance after deducting any costs already spent on your project, such as design, documentation or application fees, where these were mentioned in your quotation.
Solar panels, inverters, structures and batteries are often ordered specially for each project. If you cancel after materials are ordered or delivered, we will refund the advance only after deducting the cost of materials that cannot be returned to the supplier, along with transport and handling charges.
Once installation work has started or been completed, the order cannot be cancelled, except as agreed in writing.
Batteries and electrical products that have been installed or used cannot be returned. Unused products in original packing may be accepted for return at our discretion after inspection. Manufacturing defects are handled through the manufacturer’s warranty by repair or replacement, not a cash refund.
Government subsidies are paid by the government directly, not by Sadguru Solar. A delay, reduction or rejection of a subsidy by the authorities is not a reason for cancellation or refund of the project amount.
Service, cleaning and repair visits are done as and when you ask for them. Any charges are shared with you before the work starts. Service work that has already been completed cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Email info@sadgurusolarenergy.com with your name, phone number, quotation or invoice number and the reason. We will confirm the refundable amount in writing.
Approved refunds are usually processed within 15 working days to your bank account or original payment method.
